The Z Spike accessory for the Crovel Extreme and Crovel Tactical can be used for a number of survival applications.

Instructions for Z Spike:

 

  • To attach the Z Spike accessory for the Crovel Extreme® or Crovel Tactical use a screwdriver or coin (quarter) to unscrew plug out of hammerhead end of Crovel®.
  • Rotate screw plug counter clockwise until large screw-plug has come off.
  • Attach Z Spike by rotating threaded end of spike into the threaded end of the hammerhead in a clockwise motion.

 

Z Spike Uses:
 

  • Break Ice
  • Split wood/ breach walls
  • Chip rocks/ cement

WARNING: Improper usage can cause personal injury. Please use Crovel and all accessories for their intended purposes.

While we encourage you to secure your place in our shipping queue, we ask that you commit and are certain of your pre-order purchase. All pre-ordered products are considered custom and not “off the shelf” items.

 

Recon Outdoors (Gear Up) requires that you provide full payment and authorization at the time the merchandise is pre-ordered, including shipping and any necessary tax fees. Pre-orders are shipped on a “first come, first serve” basis in the sequence of the initial orders received.

 

  • You may cancel an order within 24 hours of the order being placed without a cancellation fee.
  • Orders cancelled after 24 hours are subject to a 15% cancellation fee of the total amount charged and will be deducted off the refund amount.
    • This fee covers both the fees we incur when we charge and then credit a cancelled order, additionally Recon Outdoors (Gear Up) commits to acquiring those items especially for you from the manufacturer , so when an order is cancelled by a customer, we cannot cancel the order from the manufacturer.

    This product is top notch, high quality addition to the Crovel. I was hesitant at first to purchase, but so glad that I changed my mind and bought the Z Spike! Would definitely recommend this to anyone with the Crovel.

    Have not had a chance to use the Z Spike yet, but it does fit perfectly on my crovel, and is very well made and sturdy. Can't wait to find an excuse to use this sucker!

    It's the great tool for the Crovel Extreme.It fits perfectly, You don't need to worry about it. It gets the job done that's for sure.

    Perfect add on to the crovel extreme. Breaks cinderblocks with no problems. I would recommend the crovel and z spike for every one preparing for something...

    I have one of these for the Crovel-EX that was reviewed by our blog. I just posted about the Crovel-EX itself and my whole team (including me) LOVED IT. We also loved this Z-Spike.
    You really couldn't ask it to be more than it is. It is perfect for what it was designed for...breaking ice, cement, etc. I think it fits in with the Crovel Line-up perfectly, and if you get a Crovel, get one of these. You will NOT regret it.

    One of my team said that they wanted a longer spike made available. I prefer the Z-Spike's specs myself, but the Option of a longer spike might be neat.

    I know a little about the guys at Gear Up and Tim Ralstons Team, if I was a betting man, I would bet the Z-Spike is just the beginning! I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled, there is bound to be more attachments coming soon.

    +1 for the Z-Spike!! Great Job Guys!

    This spike will make it easier to break ground, punch holes in ice or give a Russian Spetsnaz soldier a third eye. Felix Dzerzhinsky could have definitely used some ventilation from the Z Spike on his birthday.
